Most of us expect to visit our doctors when we are sick or injured, but did you know it is also a good idea to see your doctor when you are well? An annual preventive health visit or physical is a time for you and your physician to focus on early detection of disease, identify risk factors, and discuss risk reduction to keep you healthier longer. Your preventive health visit may include a thorough physical exam, review of personal and family health history, age-appropriate and individualized diagnostic laboratory testing and immunizations. We also provide cancer screening tests, including (but not limited to) pap smears, breast exams and prostate exams.
